If you’re an adult looking for a fresh, new activity that will help bring stress relief to your busy life, try our new coloring class!
Check the library calendar, linked above, for details about meeting times. Take a little "down time" and come color with us at the Alameda Free Library. Join us as we have a little fun during Adult Recess, where adults go to play, craft, color, and do whatever they wanna do, 'cause we're adults and we can!
The organizer will bring plenty of coloring pages and pencils/markers for those who don’t have their own.
The group will get together to color, socialize, and meet new people who also love to color.
We have a great selection of coloring sheets and supplies for you to choose from, but you're also welcome to bring your own. Come color with us, relax and unwind with friends, and well, basically just color. Please bring your own coloring books or designs, we'll also have some fabulous coloring books for you to buy to get you started!
See the Facebook page linked above for details about time and place.
Times and locations are subject to change, so be sure to visit a club's website to see more details about meeting times and locations. Drop by the library during our adult coloring sessions to see for yourself. We are about being social and building a local community although we welcome visiting colorists who are just passing through. Drop in for a relaxing time, to enjoy expressing your creativity and to meet new people who share the same interest.
This group is about more than coloring, it is about feeling part of a community.
Don't be afraid to promote yourself either, as part of build a strong community is networking.
Participants are encouraged to talk about services, products, other hobbies, and challenges or problems they face they being part of a supportive community may be able to help with.
